Seventeen foursomes compete in ECSC Golf Day 2025

Before teeing off, the players enjoyed a coffee and bacon roll in the Exeter Golf & Country Clubhouse. Then it was off to the ‘shotgun start’, with each team starting at the same time on each of the seventeen holes available.

The weather was blustery, with the occasional shower, but otherwise kind.
After the golf, players shared a drink or two with friends and then sat down to an excellent two course dinner.

We were pleased to have Exeter Chiefs star, Ethan Roots, join us to present the prizes, and do a short Q and A.
Congratulations to all our winners.
As well as providing a good day’s golf for many of our Supporters, the Day also raised nearly £5K which the Supporters’ Club will use to support youth and development rugby throughout the South West. So far this year, we have sponsored three young Exeter Chiefs - Sophie Langford, Lucy Nye and Louie Sinclair. We have also supported both the Men’s and Women’s Academies, and given grants to a number of local club youth sections.
We are very grateful to our Main Sponsor DCW Polymers, to all the Hole Sponsors, and to all those who donated team prizes, raffle prizes and items for auction (see .PDF below).
